\nIn this talk, we proposed a hyperspectral image classi\fcation algorithm based on functional data
\nwavelet transform.
\nThe multiresolution analysis (MRA) and time frequency localization in wavelet\u3000transform make it an efficient functional analysis tool.
\nBased on the proposed functional data rep-resentation model of HSI pixels,
\nwe chose cubic B-spline wavelet decomposition after analyzing the\u3000characteristic of different wavelets.
\nRegarding the decomposition coefficients as extracted feature, our HSI classi\fcation
\nalgorithm could better re ect the local structural feature of the spectral
\ncurves than the
\nalgorithm based on functional principal component analysis (FPCA).
\nCompara-tive experimental results on two standard HSI dataset veri\fed the efficiency

\n\u300cAtomic Representation-based Classi\fcation: Theory, Algorithm and Applications\u300d
\nRepresentation-based classi\fcation (RC) methods such as sparse RC (SRC) have attracted
\ngreat interest in pattern recognition recently. In this talk, we introduce a new condition called
\natomic classi\fcation condition (ACC), which reveals important geometric insights for the theory
\nof ARC. We establish the theoretical guarantees for a general uni\fed framework termed as atomic
\nrepresentation-based classi\fcation (ARC), which includes most RC methods as special cases. We
\nshow that under such condition ARC is provably effective in correctly recognizing any new test
\nsample, even corrupted with noise. Numerical results are provided to validate and complement our
\ntheoretical analysis of ARC and its important special cases for both noiseless and noisy test data.<\/p>\n
